One of the most persistent earworms that has ever crawled into my skull and wrapped itself around my brain has got to Hallelujah. I won't even pretend that I know what this song is about fully....but do you have to know what a song is about in order to enjoy it?! Nah! Just think of Hotel California....it's a great one and I don't think anyone understands it. Sometimes a good song is just a song.

This is an "oldie" that I grew up hearing on the radio in my Dad's car! The song was written by composer Dimitri Tiomkin and lyricist Ned Washington and originally sung by Gene Pitney (whose name just so happens to be similar to the word Pity).

I didn't have time to film a new MusicalMonday for this week - so I recycled one of the very first MM videos I filmed and made it a little faster! :)
